About the Role
We are looking for a chairman to join the management team, with significant equity incentive. You will lead on developing and communicating a strategy for commercialization of uFraction8's technology, towards three main goals: (1) to develop customer relationships (2) to support a fundraise from investors in Q1/2 2023 (3) to develop partnerships leading up to licensing and/or M&A.
uFraction8 is based in Scotland and Poland; however, we'd be open for this role to be partially remote.
Ideal background
- Experience and connections in the engineering and equipment industry - either at a corporate or having sold a business to a corporate
- Experience fundraising and company-building, or in a VC or CVC or external innovations role
- A plus would be: Understanding of technical bottlenecks in downstream processes for fermentation, microalgae and/or mammalian cell cultivation
About the Organisation
uFraction8 is a developer of a novel bioseparation technology that improves efficacy and scalability of downstream processing (DSP) in cultivated meat and microalgae production as well as fermentation. By innovating in the space of DSP that has gotten little spotlight to date, we unlock efficiency and scalability across the food tech world!
