Position Location: Argentina, preferably Buenos Aires
Remuneration: To be defined according to location 
Language requirement: Native Spanish, English Intermediate
About Sinergia Animal
Rated as one of the world's most effective animal protection organizations by Animal Charity Evaluators, Sinergia Animal is an international campaigning organization working in countries in the Global South (specifically Latin America and Southeast Asia) to reduce animal suffering and promote more compassionate food choices. 
We use negotiations, investigations, peaceful direct actions, and innovative campaigning methods to expose the suffering of farmed animals and to help build a world in which no animals are exploited for food.
About the position
The person in this position will be responsible for generating and maintaining contact with companies in Argentina to negotiate corporate policies that reduce the suffering of animals in the food industry. Our focus is ending intensive confinement practices, especially related to hens in the egg industry.
* Research and build a database of food companies' profiles, policies, and key contacts;
* Research and develop support materials about our animal welfare asks; 
* Host corporate meetings and prepare presentations for different stakeholders, including executives, directors, and producers, with the goal of persuading companies to adopt animal welfare policies in their supply chains; 
* Consistently establish permanent contact with key corporate contacts, via emails, phone calls, and meetings; 
* Support projects within our corporate engagement department;  
* Represent Sinergia Animal at public events and animal protection communities at large;
* Build alliances with other international and/or grassroots NGOs;
* Travel regionally, as necessary, to meet contacts; 
* Support, execute, or coordinate any other activities when necessary;
* Carry out other activities assigned by the supervisor, director, and/or president and follow all procedures set by Sinergia Animal.
Desired Skills and Experience:
* Advanced/fluent English 
* Excellent oral communication, writing, and proofreading skills
* Excellent research skills
* Proven ability to work both independently and in close coordination with a remote team
* Must be able to work within deadlines and manage multiple projects
* Strong time management skills
* Commitment to the mission and objectives of the organization
