About the Role

Are you a highly-creative social media communicator with a sharp eye for visual impact and a way with words? We are looking for a talented, native Latin American Spanish-speaking Digital Communications specialist to build up and manage our digital channels, mainly on Social Media, with the aim to grow a community in Latin America. As a Community Manager, you need to know how to create impactful, creative content (aligned with ProVeg’s strategy and with the support of the Senior Communications Manager). You should also be up-to-date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. Ideally, you combine excellent communication skills with the necessary creativity to be able to express ProVeg International’s mission, vision, and all our output in a clear, concise, engaging, and impactful manner. You’ll manage content for social media, the ProVeg Latam website, and our newsletters under the guidance of the Senior Communications Manager. Additionally, you are adept at engaging with influencers and followers and building relationships that grow and elevate ProVeg’s profile.

About the Organisation

ProVeg International is a food awareness organisation working to transform the global food system by replacing animal-based products with plant-based and cultured alternatives. We work with decision-making bodies, companies, investors, the media, and the general public to help the world transition to a society and economy that are less reliant on animal agriculture and more sustainable for all humans, animals, and our planet. We have offices in nine countries across four continents and are active around the world. ProVeg has a permanent observer status with the UNFCCC, special consultative status with ECOSOC, is accredited for UNEA, and has received the United Nations’ Momentum for Change Award.
