About the Role

Do you have experience in marketing, with a focus on events, activations and community building? ProVeg South Africa is looking for an Events and Activations Coordinator to organise events to highlight the benefits of a plant-based diet. You will be responsible for all logistical elements of our events and activations, managing our volunteers and helping to grow our online community.

The types of events will vary, and could include plant-based sampling activations, corporate wellness days, film screenings, product launches, focus groups, volunteer training etc.

Team management is very important as you will be responsible for managing our volunteer network and ensuring that volunteers enjoy being part of our events.

Social media experience will be an integral part of this role and will be used to advertise events, highlight the events and activations we host, and inspire our online community.

Location: Pinelands, Cape Town

Reports to: Director, ProVeg South Africa

Contract type: Permanent

Salary: R20-28k total cost to company
