SEO Writer

Job Type: Part-time (2 days per week)

Plant Based News is looking for an experienced seo writer with a passion for plant-based and vegan living. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Editorial and work in a fast-paced media team.

Responsibilities:
Conduct research on plant-based and vegan topics to produce engaging and informative feature articles
Write high-quality articles that adhere to PBN’s editorial standards and styling
Produce SEO-friendly content, oftentimes based on a brief, with a strong focus on keyword implementation
Collaborate with the editorial team to generate new and innovative ideas for feature articles
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Feature Writer, with a portfolio of published articles
Excellent writing skills, with impeccable attention to detail
Strong understanding of SEO and experience with keyword research and implementation
A deep passion for and interest in the plant-based and vegan landscape
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment
Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong sense of accountability
Familiarity with WordPress is a strong asset
