About the Role

L214 is an association for the defense of animals. Mainly known for her filmed investigations in farms and slaughterhouses, she brings together a range of activities aimed at reducing the suffering inflicted on animals and reducing the number of animals killed.
The association is now made up of more than 80 employees working from home, with coworking spaces available to them in Paris and Lyon.
The L214 association is recruiting an agri-food relations officer to contribute to the development of the agri-food team, as part of a permanent contract to be filled in January 2023.
You will essentially be in charge of relations with companies in the retail, catering, processed products and production sectors in order to strengthen the commitments of these players in terms of reducing the worst conditions for raising and slaughtering animals. , and to ensure that they are correctly installed. You have a sense of organization and interpersonal skills, you are persevering, determined and autonomous and will be able to integrate into a dynamic and demanding team. Finally, you are interested in the world of business and agribusiness and you find yourself in the spirit, goals and strategy of L214.
Main missions
In collaboration with the agri-food relations coordinator and your teammate, contribute to the construction of your team's objectives and strategy. Implement and execute defined action plans. Contacting companies, arranging meetings, driving them and debriefing the team. Follow up on relationships with companies and commitments made. Build solid knowledge of the sectors, maintain and deepen one's knowledge of the issues associated with campaigns, understand and know how to defend the measures proposed to companies.
Do in-depth research on certain sectors and certain issues. Find, read and summarize economic and scientific studies.
Contribute to the reflection of public campaign managers on the subject of public information and mobilization actions addressed to retailers, and be a source of proposals on the choice of campaigns to be carried out.
Communicate on a daily basis with teammates from the agri-food division, and occasionally with members of other teams, as well as international partner associations or other stakeholders.
Secondary missions
Monitor news and content of interest and share it with the team.
Participate in the distribution of videos of investigations in connection with the work of the cluster, in particular in the work of preparing communication. Develop newsletters and press releases related to corporate commitments and ongoing campaigns.
You may be required to perform other additional tasks depending on the needs of the team or association.
Required Skills
Strong communication skills: You communicate professionally with companies, team members and the public. You are endowed with good interpersonal skills and have excellent skills in oral communication (telephone, appointment) and writing. Your syntax and spelling are impeccable.
Knowledge of the conditions of raising and slaughtering animals, particularly with regard to laying hens, broilers and pigs.
Knowledge of the functioning and constraints of agri-food companies.
Bonus Skills
Professional experience of at least 3 years related to the position offered, ideally as a corporate relations officer in an NGO.
Good knowledge and strong interest in the topics covered by the association in general.
Mastery of Google tools (Gmail, Sheets, Slides, Agenda, Drive) and Slack.
Knowledge of the particularities of teleworking and/or the voluntary sector will be a plus.
Good command of English both orally and in writing.

Working conditions
Desired start date : January 2023.
Contract : Full-time permanent contract (35 hours).
Direct supervision : by the agri-food relations coordinator.
Organization of work: teleworking in France, with the possibility of accessing the Paris/Lyon offices. Plan frequent trips that can be weekly and extend over several days. Living in a city connected to Paris in less than 2 hours will be a plus.
Salary: €2,571 gross monthly (single salary within the association regardless of the position held)
+ monthly geographical supplement for people living in the attractiveness zone of the cities of Paris (200 € gross)
+ occupancy allowance (25 € gross)
+ teleworking professional expense allowance (€50 net)
+ restaurant vouchers (9 € per day)
+ health insurance 100% covered by the association
Work tools : provision of computer equipment, office equipment and software and service licenses.
