About the Role

In this position you will partner with the Senior Manager, Web Marketing to identify and execute advocacy and fundraising goals in order to maximize the effectiveness of the organization’s website. You will also plan, write, edit, test and improve digital content related to web marketing to strengthen brand awareness and credibility. Finally, you will provide day to day guidance to other members of digital marketing department as needed.

* Work with Campaigns, Editorial and other departments create content for HSUS campaigns. This includes a campaign planning, writing fundraising and advocacy copy, requesting design assets, managing internal review, post-campaign reporting and other platform-specific duties;
* Collaborates with the Senior Manager, Web Marketing, and the Editorial and Communications teams to plan the content marketing strategy calendar for web-related projects;
* Acts as SEO lead for the team. Coordinates with stakeholders to implement recommendations for improving content visibility and quality;
* Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Web Marketing to plan the content marketing strategy calendar within Jira;
* Record and analyze fundraising and advocacy campaign performance based on Engaging Networks data exports. Provide reports and recommendations based on the data compiled;
* Stay abreast of the latest trends in online marketing and nonprofit technology. Research and follow trends of other nonprofits in best practices in online donor acquisition and web fundraising;
* Performs other duties or responsibilities, as assigned.
