About the Role

The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the nation’s most effective animal advocacy organization, is seeking a Project Manager, Events for the Brand and Visuals department. In this position you will project manage a variety of print and digital projects for our special events and conferences. You will use expert communication skills to collaborate with other departments, create schedules, meet deadlines, and manage additional Brand and Visuals team functions as needed.

Responsibilities:

- Project manages a variety of print and digital projects for our special events and conferences. Creates and maintains schedules, sends proofs, and works closely with Designers, Editors, and Marketing Production team to meet all deadlines;
- Uses expert communication skills to collaborate with other departments and update colleagues in Jira and by email;
- Attends team meetings and provides feedback on design, typography, photography, etc.;
- Researches and procures photography as needed, making selections based on tone, composition, quality, color and budget. Uses decision-making authority to make independent decisions that best fit each project;
- Performs other duties or responsibilities, as assigned.
