In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a new prospect research function in the Global Major Gifts team, focussing on the UK, US and European markets (where our fundraising is most active). You will provide strategically aligned prospect research, helping to identify and prioritise potential new supporters to help the Major Gifts team develop strategic partnerships based on donor interests, capacity and motivations. You will also be responsible for implementing our Ethical Fundraising & Donation Acceptance policies, ensuring a high-level of rigour in their application, and ensure GDPR regulations are adhered to.
We are looking for someone who has the focus, determination, attention to detail and knowledge of philanthropy research and trends to play a key role within Global Major Gifts. This new post presents an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to build on our policies and processes and create and implement new systems and templates to maximise our fundraising through research. You will report to the International Head of Major Gifts and work closely with the US Major Gifts & Development Director as part of a dynamic and supportive team of seven major gift and trust fundraisers based in the UK and USA.
Key responsibilities for the Fundraising Prospect Research Manager role include:

* Use Salesforce to report on and analyse our prospect pool and identify new supporters
* Support the team to maintain accurate donor records and ensure compliance with GDPR
* Contribute to wider Major Gifts activity and the overall success of the team
