Undercover Investigator Mexico

Position Location: Mexico, Remote, Multiple Locations.
An undercover investigator is the person who photographs or records on video the real situation of animals on farms and slaughterhouses in Mexico. He is part of the investigation planning, obtains statistical information and works in the field throughout the duration of the investigation.

Responsibilities: 
* Carry out undercover investigations into the conditions of farm animals assigned by the management of the Investigations Department, following all the organization's protocols to maintain a high level of evidence, guaranteeing timely and high-quality results.
* Document in photo and video conditions of animals in industrial livestock farming.
* Provide information about opportunities related to animal cruelty investigations.
* Conduct online research and profile potential research targets.
* Collect information related to corporate misconduct and environmental and animal welfare violations, as necessary.
* Review recordings and prepare daily investigation logs while investigations are conducted in the field.
* Cooperate with lawyers, prosecutors, security forces and federal and state agencies.
* Testify in court hearings and proceedings when necessary
* Manage allocated budget during travel and provide weekly accounting records of all expenses in accordance with department protocols.
* Keep sensitive electronic equipment in good working order while traveling and working in adverse conditions.
* Preserve the confidentiality of all sensitive research matters
* Present all research material on time
* Report verbally or electronically to the Director of Investigations on case activity on a daily basis.
* Ability to meet investigative expectations while performing all required secondary employer duties in a professional manner.
* Strict compliance with all federal, state and local laws
* Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
