About the Role

AAC is a relatively new nonprofit (registered in 2021) with a small, high-performing global team. We are seeking a board member who is personally excited about AAC’s mission to strengthen and expand the animal protection movement. Board members at AAC provide support, strategic guidance (with optional bi-annual input into programme evaluation), and insights to ensure AAC is growing sustainably and making a positive impact. We are currently seeking a qualified candidate with the necessary skills and experience to fulfil the role of Board Treasurer.

What would you be doing? - Attending quarterly board meetings, overseeing finances
- Guiding strategic policies for AAC
- Support fundraising efforts and actively advocate for AAC's mission

And how much time do you need to do all of this?
- 2 hours per month
- 4 annual board meetings
- Optional bi-annual strategy sessions

If this all sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!

About the Organisation

Animal Advocacy Careers, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organisation (EIN: 86-1554905) Animal Advocacy Careers is an organisation that speeds up the end of animal suffering by matching people to roles and opportunities that help animals the most. Many billions of animals are kept in appalling conditions; we provide career services for individuals and organisations seeking to help them.

Services that we offer include an online course, a job board, 1:1 career advising, giving for animals and a talent matching database. Our cautious estimate is that we have helped over 105 people land high-impact positions who wouldn’t have otherwise, and added value of > $2,500,000 to the movement through these positions.
