About the Role
You have a direct influence on reducing the use of animal products in the food industry and thus increasing our impact on animals.
In detail this means:
- You build, maintain and develop long-term and sustainable relationships with companies in the food sector; your focus is on working with companies in the catering industry
- You will work to improve animal welfare standards, reduce the use of animal products and expand the range of plant-based products in the catering industry
- You conduct negotiations on the above topics and work with the companies to develop solutions and concepts
- You play a key role in shaping the image of the Albert Schweitzer Foundation for our environment in the perception of key companies in the food industry
- You inform yourself and independently research potential new cooperation projects and contacts for your work
- You represent the foundation at trade fairs, congresses, round tables and other food industry events as a participant or as a lecturer
- You support our communications team in creating relevant content about the work of the Food Progress Team
About the Organisation
The aim of the Albert Schweitzer Foundation for our environment is to alleviate as much animal suffering as possible. We focus on eliminating factory farming, as this is by far the area where humans cause the most suffering and death.
